Our gentle lotions are formulated to truly nourish your lashes, leaving them stronger and healthier than they've ever been. Unlike other traditional lifts, our formulas will close the hair cuticles completely, so you don't have to wait 24 hours to get them wet or go to the sauna.
One size does not fit all! With hundreds of lashes to choose from our arsenal, we create a set that is just for you. Lashes are applied onto every single healthy natural lash. With precision, each lash is isolated before application to ensure no damage.
Please reach us at hello@mightybeaute.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Only for returning clients. As most of our client's lashes last 3-4 weeks, anything after 4 weeks will be considered a new full set.
If you are a new client, please reach out to us before you schedule your appointment so we can assess your lashes. We typically do not do fills on other service provider's work.
If you arrive late, we can accommodate you, but your appointment will end at your scheduled time and you will be expected to pay the full service fee.
In order to minimize time spent in the waiting area and to maintain social distancing, all forms that are sent to you prior to your appointment must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment. Please complete these forms as soon you receive them, so our team can make sure all of your information is accurate and up to date before your appointment. We will have to cancel and reschedule any appointments that don’t submit the required forms 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. We are requiring all forms be submitted prior to your arrival in order keep staff and other clients safe and practice proper social distancing.
We are frequently asked what products we use for lashes. The inquiry is specific about the types of lashes and the brand of adhesive. In order to answer this question effectively it’s important to discern the reason why the question is being asked. We order directly from a manufacturer that private labels for many lash companies around the world and can provide manufacturer safety data sheets upon request.
If you’re asking what brand we use in order to avoid an allergic reaction, please read on. The kind of adhesive indicated for use of semi-permanent lash extension application is a type of adhesive called a cyanoacrylate. Some people can develop an allergic reaction to the adhesive (5% of the population is allergic). It usually presents after 3-4 exposures (3-4 months after initial application) to the adhesive. For those who are allergic, the morning after their service the lids of the eyes will be puffy - more swollen than a night of crying. The eyeballs will be “quiet”- no redness or discharge. This condition cannot be avoided by changing brands of adhesive. It will occur every time lashes are applied to an allergic person using the cyanoacrylate. There is relief and clients can continue to enjoy extensions with the allergy, but it will require a visit to a knowing ophthalmologist familiar with working with the nuances of extensions in order to obtain a prescription cream that will prevent the inflammation from occurring when lashes are reapplied.
If you have suffered from this kind of allergy, there is relief available and it is not based upon changing name brands of adhesive.
Please remove all your makeup around your eyes before you come in. If you don’t the time, we’ll remove it for you when your arrive. Bare in mind, the more time we have to spend cleaning your lashes, the less time we have to work on your lashes. Please do no use strivectin 3 days prior to coming in. It interferes with the bonding.
For most of our clients, they last at least 4 weeks. Some people can go as long as 5 weeks while some need to come in every 2-3 weeks. It all depends on how fast your lashes grow.
No, not when they are precisely bonded and placed right. When lashes are done with the active growth phase, they will shed normally. Our lashes are known to shed singly. If extensions are the wrong fit or stuck together they can fall out together, pulling out in clusters or clumps. Your lashes are given individualized attention and are isolated and precisely bonded. They are matched to the right variable and placed right according to your unique anatomy.
We try to put on every single healthy natural lash. That said, each person's hair growth is different. Most have around 120-150 lashes per eye. Now some people have less and some of our guests ask to have less. No matter what we will make sure your lashes look natural.
Lifting lotion has always been the harshest step of the lash lifting process. That's because old school lifting lotions use abrasive ingredients like thioglycolate, ammonia and ethanol amine to achieve a dramatic, lasting lift.
The lotions we use is the world's first truly organic lash & brow lifting lotion. It achieves the same lift and longevity as those other guys - with a much gentler approach. This revolutionary formula contains:
- NO Thiogycolate
- NO Ammonia
- NO Ammonium derivatives such as Ammonium Bicarbonate
- NO Ethanolamine
Instead, these are replaced with earth and human friendly ingredients like cysteamine and plant-based amino acids. The lotions we use is different from every other lotion on the market because instead of damaging and dehydrating, our gentle formula nourishes lashes. It's like a mini spa treatment in a lash lift, so clients leave with lashes that are stronger and healthier than before.
Our formulas are so healthy that you can literally repeat the lifting process immediately without damaging the lashes. We tested it out ourselves by performing 4 lash lifts on the same model in the same day (she never once got up from the table) - with absolutely no damage!
Lash Lift aftercare products have to nourish lashes after aggressive lotions have dehydrated them. It’s important to understand that there is a difference between the purpose of lash food products and serums. Lash food products are (usually) made of natural ingredients without the addition of chemicals. Their purpose is to provide lashes with nutrients that they need to become stronger and healthier looking, but they don’t grow lashes much longer. The most common lash food product is castor oil.
Lash serums synthetically (with the help of chemicals) extend lash growth cycles and thus make lashes grow longer than they naturally would. Unfortunately, most lash serums provide very little to no food for lashes to grow healthier and stronger. That’s why they usually give a distinct spidery look to lashes – lashes are noticeably longer but as thin as they were before. There is a wide-spread misconception that serums grow NEW lashes as in awakening dormant lash follicles. In fact, majority of lash serums do no such thing. Instead, they just grow existing lashes so much longer that lashes that were too short to be noticed before the serum become visible, making it look like you’ve grown new lashes.
When choosing home care products after lash lift services, you should bear in mind these differences and choose products according to your goals. If the intention is to both nourish lashes and to grow them longer, then both a serum and a lash food product should be used. Both products should be used in the evenings as our bodies rejuvenate and grow the most during the night when we sleep.
